Top 10 Hetero Couples

Description

I said I'd eventually get around to listing my top 10 favorite hetero couples, and here it is. I'd say the first three are in the right order, the rest...I'm still trying to decide if they're in the right order or just placed at random

Anyways, from ten to one:

-Parker & Hardison, Leverage: these two have the cutest dynamic in the show, and I just love both of them (and Eliot :aww: ). I always loved Parker's crazy quirks, and Hardison was one awesome geek. I could go on, but it's late and I'll leave it at that. (I couldn't leave out Leverage, considering what TNT did to the show recently :-( )
-Akira Okuzaki & Takumi Tokiha: These two were my favorite couple in Mai-Hime. They were like the Helga X Arnold of the Mai-verse. Akira could be moody and brash, but she showed she really cared for Takumi, and his interactions with her were just so sweet :aww:
-Connor & Abby, Primeval: Comic relief tech-savvy badass + Action Girl with a love for animals = this lovely duo. I waited the first few series for this one to be canon. Connor is just a sweetheart (and I  Andrew Lee Potts), and Abby's just plain cool. I can't seem to sum it into words the best right now, but my reasons for liking these two together are more in depth than this. Maybe later, once I've had a chance to think it over more thoroughly, I'll get those other reasons added on here.
-Angela & Hodgins, Bones: I almost would've considered putting them in front of Booth/Brennan, but Booth/Brennan is one of my big ones, so...yeah. Onto these two: I loved the chemistry between Angela and Jack in the first season. It seemed more natural than the lead pairing. I was totally devastated when they were torn apart a few seasons back, and completely happy when they rekindled their romance, and got married. Of all the Bones pairings Angela & Jack's was the best over-series developed IMHO. I could go on for days, in detail, the many things that work with these two (how he's supportive of her whenever she troubled by something, etc) but I'll leave it at this.
-Booth & Brennan, Bones: I loved the show for the theme, but also got hooked on Bones for the Booth/Brennan dynamic. They have their differences, and they come to odds over them from time to time--but they also manage to work through those issues and overcome them whenever possible. I love how protective he can be when she's in trouble, and the lengths she'll go to to help him out in a crisis. Plus---their bickering can be hilarious at times
-Peter & Olivia, Fringe: I pretty much figured these two would hook up from the beginning, and was rooting for it to happen from day one. For Peter, Olivia's his anchor in a reality where he felt so disjointed when his past was revealed to him, and while Olivia was struggling through the troubles involving her abilities that she developed in her childhood due to Walter's Cortexiphan trials, Peter stood by her and helped get through it. They both went to great lengths to reach one another when they were separated (when Peter was held in the other-verse because of Walternate, etc.), plus--they're one of the better developed couples on TV recently (IMHO anyways). These two just belong together.
-Castle & Beckett, Caskett: The goofy writer and the serious detective. The light banter between these two is hilarious, but what really makes the dynamic work is how they support each other, even though they can sometimes be at odds with one another. Castle helped Beckett through the trials & tribulations of her mother's murder case when it was reopened, and through that and getting to know one another on a more personal level, they managed to develop a level of respect for one another and build something that ran deeper than the partner style relationship they started out with. They have each other's back, and they each have shown how they deeply care and worry about the other when one is caught up in something dangerous.

My top three established pairings:
-Leo & Piper, Charmed: Leo started out watching over Piper as her guardian angel, for she had her sisters. Because their relationship wasn't approved by the higher ups, they struggled to decide whether it was a good idea to pursue something deeper or leave it be. Eventually, both Leo and Piper realized they couldn't keep their distance from one another, and went through quite a struggle to eventually end up together. I loved how they built up and endured through so much to stick together and end up happy by the show's conclusion.
Arnold & Helga, Hey Arnold: Helga pretends to have issues with Arnold, but it's all a front. Deep inside, Helga is a complicated individual. Her home life is dysfunctional, what with her parents fawning over her so-called brilliant older sister Olga, and her ending up in the background much of the time as a result. While they were fairly young, Arnold was that one beacon of kindness that Helga clung to. Because of her dysfunctional home life, she is awkward in knowing how to express herself, and thus displays her love for the one person who showed her kindness in a harsh fashion. She teases and taunts Arnold, but deep down wishes she could just show how she really feels for him. He is pretty oblivious to Helga's true feelings, but if he only knew, and she was able to be true about her feelings with him... I think they could build something together. If only the show had been given a chance to delve deeper into this....

Last, but not least:
Zuko & Raven (ZuRae), Teen Titans/Avatar: Purely fanon, I know, but I just am in love with these two and the concept of it. Zuko deeply struggled with issues involving his own self image, his ordeal with his father and what was right, much like what Raven dealt with in regards to her ordeal with Trigon. Raven is fairly similar to Mai, and because of their past struggles, both she and Zuko could relate to one another. They aren't too similar that they don't have their differences. Raven would have to work around Zuko's impatient nature, and Zuko would have to work on getting Raven to open up and be more affectionate, but the fact that they would understand each other on deeper levels than most people could, and probably would get along fairly well (see Maiko for my reasons why I believe this is), I think ZuRae would work if the two were ever introduced to one another.
